Growing up around musicians and even playing a couple of instruments, I have always been a fan of live R&B and soul bands. When you mix it with a nice lounge, food and/or cocktails it makes for a nice birthday celebration or date night.

- Wednesday Night
- Pizza Bar 3560 Camp Creek Pkwy #130, Atlanta, GA 30344 Tailor Made music performs every Wednesday at 8:30pm Get there early or be prepared to wait. The have daily drink specials. The pizza and whole wings are amazing. My favorite is the Turkey Supreme pizza. If its your birthday they have a VIP section. The band also makes you get up and dance with them. :D
2. Thursday Night
- Kat’s Cafe 970 Piedmont Ave Atlanta GA 30309 there is live music just about every night. Thursday and Saturday are popular nights. Seating is limited as this is a smaller venue. If you can make reservations do so. Sometimes there is a cover charge. Call ahead.
3. Friday Night
- Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint 200 Peachtree St NE Atlanta, GA 30303Saturday Night
4. Suite Lounge 375 Luckie Street Atlanta, Georgia 30313 There is a live band for dinner until about 11pm. Afterwards it turns into a party with bottle service. Parking is available on the street behind or in parking lots around the front. If you want to stay for the party, sign up for free entry until 11pm.
5. BQE Lounge 262 Edgewood Avenue, Atlanta. Known for some classic food such as Red Velvet Waffles and Chicken. This lounge has rotating bands on Sat nights. There is a $5 entertainment fee. As a bonus tip, Thursdays is known as Retox Thursdays; specials include $5 food and drink specials. Music is Karaoke :D
